Photostability

In order to offer photostability services to our customers, R.D. Laboratories maintains a Caron 6540-1 photostability chamber with temperature control. This advanced device meets ICH, FDA, EMEA and Health Canada requirements for photostability (light study) testing according to ICH Q1B option II.

We implement a variety of light configurations to meet the requirements of these various testing scenarios, while also ensuring compliance with each protocol by constant monitoring of temperature and light exposure. We even test container integrity with our photostability chamber, as well as examine potential light degradation compounds in conjunction with method validation studies.
